Car roof racks can be difficult to work with. The main difficulties revolving around roof racks are loading the objects on the roof rack and securing the objects safely. Larger cars like 4WDs can be more difficult as the position of the roof racks are higher compared to sedans which would involve the user to climb the car to properly place and secure objects. This can be a risk to the user as they may trip or slip depending on the conditions which may cause injury. The EZ Racky minimizes the aforementioned problems by utilizing existing mechanical components that will be purchased off the shelf including bronze bushings for smooth rotating movements, locking rail slides and locking gas struts to assist in lifting and transporting the loads applied.
