20S1_Project 02 - Soap dispenser

SoapBuddy is a hands-free liquid soap dispenser that hygienically dispense soap form any bottles and also eliminates waste. Key design elements of this hands-free product include the mounting adapter and peristaltic pump which allows the soap dispenser to fit multiple brands of soap whilst promoting controlled volume extraction. Ideally the customer or user needs an outcome which utilises soap and sanitiser in a hygienic way and reduces excess waste. With reference to evidence provided by the Australian government and global health organisation reports, currently the main problem is that health risks and disease infections are increasingly being linked to poor hand hygiene practices.
